INTERNATIONAL CONFEDERATION OF REVOLVER ENTHUSIASTS
REVOLVER MATCH

The LEMON GROVE ROD & GUN CLUB is pleased to announce monthly REVOLVER MATCHES under the rules of the International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (ICORE). These matches will be officiated by the Hidden Valley Revolver Club, formerly shooting at Escondido Fish and Game and the San Diego Police Range. The ICORE rules can be found at www.icore.org

WHEN: Matches are held on the second Saturday of the month.

TIME: These matches will commence at 9:00 a.m. with target setup starting at 8:00 a.m. It is expected that these matches will be concluded by 1:00 p.m. You must be present for the shooters safety meeting in order to participate in the match (Be Prompt!).

If you are new to this style of shooting, you will be paired with an experienced shooter to help you understand the procedures and rules and have a good time.

PLACE: The LEMON GROVE ROD & GUN CLUB RANGE is located at 16232 Sequan Truck Trail, Alpine, CA. A map and directions can be seen here.

WHAT TO BRING: you will need the following:
  • A 6, 7 or 8 shot, center fire, double action revolver (any barrel length) OR a semi-auto handgun in 9mm
         or larger that will load 8 rounds
  • At least 3 speed loaders or magazines (more is better) with holders or mag pouches
  • Minimum of 120 rounds of ammunition
  • A belt holster (no cross-draw holsters, please)
  • Eye and ear protection

    FEES: Shooter fees are $5 per match for members of the Lemon Grove Rod & Gun Club and $10 for non-members. Junior shooters (age 18 and under) shoot for $3.
